2009 AAHP Technician Representative Named

Janet McGregor Liles, B.S., CPhT, Arkansas State University-Beebe Pharmacy Technician Program Director, was elected AAHP Pharmacy Technician Representative for the 2009 term.

Janet has agreed to take on the challenge of keeping AAHP technician members informed of the board’s actions and discussions relating to technicians.

In a recent statement, Janet writes, “As a seasoned 24 year pharmacy veteran, my passion of the pharmacy profession has grown and flourished. I no longer say that I am in the pharmacy profession; I now say that pharmacy is in me. It is through experience and education that I offer pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy personnel my knowledge and expertise to promote education and advancement of pharmacy technicians in Arkansas and nationwide in all pharmacy practice settings. I appreciate that you are allowing me to serve as your AAHP Technician Representative and look forward to what the future of pharmacy brings”.
