President-Elect – (1 year term)
The President-Elect is elected annually for a term of one
year and ascends successively to the offices of President and Immediate Past
President, serving for one year in each position.
1. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
2. Performs the duties of the President whenever the President is unable to do so
3. Prepares an address for presentation at the meeting of the Association at which he is to be installed as President
President – (1 year term)
1. Presides over meetings
2. Determines the policies and directs the activities of the Association, with the approval of the Board of Directors
3. Appoints chairmen and members of the councils and committees, with the approval of the Board of Directors
4. Serves as an ex-officio member of all Association councils and committees
5. Serves as member and chairman of the Board of Directors
6. Prepares an address for presentation at the last meeting of the
Association during his term of office
Immediate Past President – (1 year term)
1. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
2. Serves as chairman of the Board of Directors in the absence of both the President and the President-Elect
Treasurer – (3 year term)
1. Receives, disburses, and accounts for all monies received from the membership dues and other sources
2. Prepares an annual statement of finances
3. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
Secretary – (3 year term)
1. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
2. Records and preserves minutes of the meetings of the Association and maintain a roster of the members
3. Notifies individuals of their appointment to councils and committess
4. Notifies members of the time and place of all meetings
5. Conducts correspondence of the Association
6. Serves as an ex-officio member of the Council on Professional Practice and Pharmco-legal Service
Executive Director – (5 year term)
At Large Board of Director Members – (3 year term)
1. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
2. Responsible for arranging one Spring District meeting
during his term
3. Responsible for compiling one newsletter per year
ASHP Delegate – (3 year term)
1. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors
